"That showy, a tithe,"
Thus it is as my love says to me that it wants to me.

Meaning: Basically, the woman is mad at her husband--the love he shows her is a small sum of money, money showing his love, rather than anything that's not materialistic. If you need further help, e-mail me--kayleighisrad@yahoo.com. Hope I helped.

Hi!!! Go with Cecy´s and Eggman´s translation .... it is quite odd the word diezmo in this sense. As a loose translation, allow me to suggest "a gift", it is not the right translation but for the sake of meaning it think it would be loyal to the artist!!

"how beautiful, a gift" as in: she(he) is a priceless gift, a holy gift.
"This is how my love says he(she) wants me."

..hhmm darklotuschylde ,very nice insight, i think this is more like it. He shows his love by getting her jewelry, she says: "How beautiful, a tithe" and then she thinks: this is how my love says he wants me..

... well, who knows, by what the rest of the lyrics say you can decide :-)))))

I think the second line reads, "So this is how my love tells me he wants me."

I'm not sure about the first part.

How beautiful, a diezmo (diezmo is the tenth part of your anual salary that you give to the catolic church)
That's how my love tells me that (he or she) loves me
