i am trying to find a way to keep my home and a car and pay utilities. my husband died july 28th 2006.social security took his check for august 2006.due to his illiness we were not able to save any moneyand the copays for health insurance went up.i am also retired because of my illiness.my morgage is 697.00 a month,my car is 435.00 a month,and utilities are about 550.00 a month.my income is only 1,500.00 a month.i still owe the funeral home 2,069 by 8-28-2006.i will pay the money back as soon as i can.please help me find someone that can help.thank you,respectfully,clara ,937-263-5369

I'm hurting financially, too.
I don't have any advise, but I'll pray for you.
Investigate about filing for bankruptcy. I know a few people that saved their homes under bankruptcy protection.

I suppose why dont you write her. Or you could See If Montel would help out I dont know. If you had life insurance on him or some kind that had it where he died everything was paid for even the house. i would also write in to Social security to get funds.

I highly doubt she would even see the letter. You gotta realize the vast quantity of mail she gets from people asking for money.
