would u consider mexicans/hispanics colored people? but aren't they part of the white race, they don't have a race, do they? some consider them out of the white race becuase there are only 4 races (asian, white, african american, arabian).

yeah, in class the teacher said those were the 4 main races. and 1 kid asked a stupid racist question about whites, and the teacher said that mexicans are part of the white race!

I classify them as a race. Every legal document, or anything I had to sign classifies them as the hispanic race.

I have always consider them to be Mexicans because they come from Mexico.They have never been consider white.

"hispanic" refers to all people who are native to latin countries, and includes millions of people who are as white as George Bush. Their blood is European, specifically Spaniard, and many have blue eyes and blonde hair.
and there are only THREE races: they are *******, CAUCASOID, AND MONGOLOID. Everything else is a combination of these three, or an invention out of whole cloth perpetrated by a college professor sometime after 1970.
last but not least, arabs are not only generally Caucasoid, they're also "aryan." same with many east Indians.

Many Hispanics are from white descent or they are indigenous.
I don't know about Mexico but many people from the Caribbean and especially South America are white or mulatto
ps- why did somebody give my answer a bad rating? it's the truth. Hispanics are either from indigenous groups or are European.

I do not consider them part of the white/caucausion race. There is a box labled "Mexican" on most any application, state funding form, college application, etc.. so to me that says they have their own race, which is how it should be.
