I understand fascinations with other religions and why people do certain things. But why all the stupid questions? I mean come on!

To clarify, i'm talking about when Religion X questions the validity of Religion Y, with something sarcastic and baseless.

yes, I am tired for example of the question posted in "Religion and Spirituality" just now, saying something like "oh those arabs, now they are claiming that they invented the numbers that WE use!!" (just to try and put down Islam once again, I guess, who knows...)

Religious people will always ask trivial questions and make trivial replies, which is a direct function of their mental illness. Unfortunaley, most religious people are totally unaware that they are mentally handicapped, and that's a fact.

Religious people do not understand the question “why” and so God, Religion, the Bible, or whatever, takes over and controls their mind. The trouble with this solution, unlike science, is that anything can be twisted into whatever you wish to believe and therefore is always right. Sadly to say, that’s irrational thought.

Most of the religious believers and followers become very aggressive towards non-believers of their religion and/or Atheists who are really just trying to help others understand the severely negative and damaging influence religion has on humanity.

Most religious posters seem unable to debate logically, lack intellectual reasoning, tend to be typically repetitive cut/paste artists due to their lack of skills, and are typically venomous towards fair-minded balanced Atheists just trying to guide people away from religion so they can have a happier peaceful life.

There is growing significant evidence as technology advances, information becomes readily available, and science makes more in-roads into the truth of life, that more and more religious people are starting to see the light and folly of their beliefs.

So many people have been criminally brainwashed from early childhood about religion and how they will be punished, that even today when in their hearts they know what they’ve been taught is false, they are just too scared to speak out or walk away from religion, without the help and support of others.

Fortunately through technology, the internet, and science, people can now learn the truth about the savagery and blatant criminal ways of the Bible and all other religions which are nothing more than wicked cults. This has to be good for our children.

I hope the above helps you understand why religious people have very limited scope to make non-trivial replies. Yes, it's sad, but unfortunately true.

There are a LOT of trivial religious questions but there are a FEW good ones. You just have to look. The only thing I tire of is when people show their real ignorance with the "my God's better than your God" analogy. Or bashing the "non-believers". My mouse is raised!!!!!!!!

My mouse is raised. I totally agree with you. It's one thing to ask a question just for information's sake, but to ask so you can just bash it or start heated arguments...sad.
