Here's my version: I learned a few tricks from this cafe that I frequent. #1 rule: Whenever I have "leftover coffee" from the morning, I let it cool down and pour it into an empty ice cube tray. Then I make "coffee ice cubes". Later on in the day I use them in place of ice and my ice coffee never gets diluted by the melting ice. I like to use French Roast coffee with sweetened condensed milk like they do at the Vietnamese restaurants. They make a mean ice coffee, "Cafe su dah". Once you try it, you'll think you died and went to heaven. It beats the hell out of the $5 one at Starbucks...what a rip.

Use good quality coffee. And always make it a little stronger, this works well for me. Add evaporated milk and sugar to taste. you can serve over ice or blend in the blender until smooth, but if the coffee is regular strength, the added water from the ice will water it down and it will not be as good.

I would say make some coffee and add 2 tsps (or more to taste) of condensened milk and allowed to get cold and freeze it in ice cube trays and blend it in the blender the next morning!

I just make a regular pot of coffee, add cream and sugar and refrigerate. If I can, I throw it in the freezer for a while.

I use Gevalia coffee, it is delicious and a lot cheaper the Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks.
