You need to find someone else. Thats the only way the pain will stop. And make sure he knows you are looking for someone else.

Christ do i know the feeling! You have my deepest sympathies. If you look hard enough you'll see a reason why you are both better off not being together just now, it takes time but you'll bounce back and you'll be much stronger for it. When my ex dumped me i was crushed and i just couldn't understand it but now though i still love him i know we just weren't right for each other at that time. It gets better, trust me. Just count on your family and friends to help you through the worst of it.

Just take some time out.
Be yourself for a while and try to have an uncomplicated time.
The more uncomplicated the better, things will then fall into place and you will know what to do rather than having asking other people

in order to get him back, you must not contact him, keep your distance no matter how much you want to text or ring, just fight that deep pain in your chest, and make him think of you. Absence makes the heart grow founder, this is the best and true saying. wash your hair everyday, and make yourself feel good on the outside, even if you feel like crap on the inside. Every day will get better

I am sorry you are in this position...it hurts and nothing can make it better. Except time. Surround yourself with people who love you and make you laugh...eventually the hurt fades into fond memories of a time that you enjoyed, but believe me...there will be better times even more enjoyable for you ahead.

everybody goes through this kind of thing, yes it hurts, and it takes time to get over it, dont go looking for anyone else just yet, give yourself time to heal, listen to sad music, cry, get angry, write letters but dont send them, eat ice cream, do whatever it takes, when you find yourself getting bored, then thats the time to get back out there, be nice to yourself, these things happen, it does not make you a bad person or unlovable, he just isnt the one for you, dont worry you will be ok, and more than likeley a lot stronger for the experience.
You will survive!

dont rebound, move on, say yes it happened, yes it was great but it wasnt meant to be, but what do i love about myself? focus on a hobby or on things you could never do before but can do now, organise a fun night out, and eventually it will stop hurting, it may not happen at once but will gradually decrease good luck x
