I have a couple of really nice ahi tuna steaks I would like to prepare for my girlfriend and I. I was thinking of searing them. I don't have a lot to work with but I was hoping I could get some tips on prep and what goes well with them. Any help would be great!

Either grilling or searing would be tasty. Just use cooking spray to coat your pan, and rub down the steaks with grill seasoning or even just salt and pepper. It will probably only take 2 or 3 minutes on each side.

For side dishes, rice pilaf and a salad of mixed greens would be perfect.

Grill them for a short time - really fresh ahi tuna should be served fairly rare.
I like it with a nice rice dish, some corn on the cob (also grilled, with lime, butter, and salt and pepper) and an assortment of heirloom tomatoes dressed only with kosher salt and extra virgin olive oil.

Place them on the grill in a special fish-holder net. Then make a lemon-butter-artichoke sauce to pour on top.
