I meet many people with depression, and what usually makes them have a glimmer of happiness is that I, and many people you know, think you are a wonderful person who needs not feel bad and down but can know that we all care. No matter what happened in your day, feel validated that you have support and friends. I don't even know you, yet I know from the fact that you are seeking support from others tells me that you are a strong, intelligent, resiliant person.

Hey Dana - It's tough having everything go wrong at once. I have those days myself. I give my self a certain amount of time to just wallow in my misery and then I force myself to turn it off and do something constructive. Sometimes it's something as simple as throwing away all the junk mail or cleaning out a kitchen drawer. It takes my mind off of work and I've established some type of order. I know it sounds silly but give it a try - it works!
