yes, as long as you confirm that your best friend has no feelings for you (besides friendship).
If yes, well than things are going to be pretty complicated and it would never balance out. meaning either lose your best friend or lose the person you love/like.
i know its tough but that's just life.
on the bright side, your best friend might be thrilled to have you go out with his/her brother so you guys can even maybe double date!

This is a touchy situation. If you all are really good friends, I would ask her what she thinks of it first. It may be awkward for you to be all over her brother in front of her. If she doesn't want you to pursue her brother, then it is up to you. Are you willing to sacrifice friendship with her to take a chance with her brother? Good luck in whatever decision you make.

it could really turn out to be a mess if it doesn't work out or if your friend starts to resent splitting time with her brother, or if they have some sort of argument and expect you to take sides. better to protect the friendship and date someone else. you get very few true friends in life, there are a ton of guys.

I wouldn't. chances are that eventually, you'll break up. And then after that, it'll be awkward between you and your best friend. And who would you rather keep in the long run, a guy you broke up with or had the chance to date, or your best friend who's there for you day in and day out.

As long as its OK with your friend and he's comfortable with the fact that you are still going to be her friend even if you two break up. Make sure and talk to her about it before doing anything.

sure, does your friend have a problem with it??? If shes likely to do so, then maybe it wouldnt. Bear in mind any dramas or breakups might affect your friendship - but if you think your friendship is stronger than that and can outlast anything, then sure - go for it!!

See how your friend feels about it first, if u don't want to be obvious then just ask the general question. Then see her reaction to the question. Some people are cool w/ their BF dating relatives, other feel it's wrong. U just have to see.

what if you and the guy fell out over something serious? Blood is thicker than water. I'm not saying its wrong but it makes you think how you value your friendship
