Hey I don't think abortion is a nice thing, I don't even agree with it when someone uses it as birth control. But my point was that people like to preach how wrong it is but thats it As for the comment that I can't keep my legs closed, well you sound like a classy gentleman there. Right on!

I know MANY people who can't have babies, who are against abortion and would absolutely LOVE to adopt!

The probelme is with the authority people who are in charge of that stuff. It takes a LONG time to adopt, sometimes years.
A newborn may be two or three years sometimes before all is approved

Let's get rid of the red tape and ask that question later

I have a daughter that has survived an abortion and have 2 adopted kids. What are YOU doing? If you want to get scraped out because you couldnt keep your legs closed dont push it on me! The time for "choice" is before you lose control of your "wild" female sex drive. Give me a break!

not a happy answer for you hun,,, i believe ever one that aborts an unborn baby is the worse kind of scum on earth,,,, they have to take a child that cannot defend its self and depends totally on the love and nurrishment of its mother to help it and rip it apart in her womb,,, even jack the ripper and the worse killers we had ever read about kills people that have a chance to fight back or at least or have a voice of saying they do not want to die,,,, im not at all for abortion ,, i can at least understand a woman thats life is in danger, or if she has been raped , but if you can justify it in your own eyes,,, do as you will, but remember ,,, there is a price to pay down the road,,,,,,you know even animals know better than that,,,, its murder ,,,i dont care how you look at it,,, you people that say its a womans right,,, need your legs torn off and a steel rod drove in your brain ,,,,,,,whats wrong did that statement make you mad,,,, at least you can say something about it huh?and yes i can show you many places in the bible where you are wrong ,,, an unborn child is a soul and is very much alive,,, this is the worse kinda sin i can imagine,,, and if you could do that,, i would feel very uncomfortable with a woman like you laying beside me in bed,,, you are capable of doing any thing,,,,,, hitler diddnt have a chance against you people,,, you all have killed more than he ever dreamed,,, im done talking ion this,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Well, I am against abortion. I think that there would be no unwanted babies if people would think about what they are doing before they do it. If people don't want a baby then they shouldn't have sex. I would rather see a baby in an orphanage then being MURDERED.

I understand what you are saying. I know many Christians that have adopted children, many that do foster care for that specific reason. I want to adopt too, have to wait until we get in better finances.

Whether a Christian adopts or doesn't does not change the fact that a baby is a life.

I dont have any problems with abortion.. But I feel those "people" you think should adopt babies because of someone else failure to use birth control is wrong. People make the wrong decision sometimes and need to deal with them instead of expecting someone else to.

I agree with you piper. That's what makes this such a wonderful country. We get to chose. I don't think it has anything to do with "being saved." I've never had an abortion....but who am I to judge anyone who has. Let the first person, answering this question, who is free of sin, cast that first stone. Not me.

Why don't they adopt?

The answer is simple. Their only real concern is with their biased philosophical/religious beliefs. They don't really care what happens to the baby once it's born. Proof?

How many children in the U.S. have health care?

How many children live below the poverty line in the U.S.?

How many children in the U.S. get the opportunity to go to college?

How many American children eat three healthy meals a day?

How many god fearing members of the current U.S. administration acted quickly and effectively after the devastation of Katrina?

I could go on but I won't. Instead, I will leave you with this simple homely. "Actions speak louder than words."

Abortion is a good solution if you're not in a good situation to have a baby. Republicans and God Freaks don't get that. So yes, why don't they. You make a great point.

You make a good point.
I don't like abortion but I wouldn't change the law. Because changing the law won't stop it from happening. Better education and birth control will.
