Yes but make sure it is not a new one because you must first season them by puting lard and putting them in the oven, that is going to give it the old black look lot of smoke but it has to be done do not cook in pan anywhere until you do this to it

Yes you can, as long as the skillet doesn't have a wood handle. It's one of the best things to use. Nothing tastes better than a pineapple upside down cake cooked in the oven in a treated cast iron skillet.

You can cook a ton of tasty stuff in cast iron, both on stove & in oven.

The oven is the only place I ever use it. I keep it seasoned and stored in there too.

Yes. Clean it with hot water only and use non-metal tools and scrubbers. Keep it covered with crisco when not in use and it's the original non-stick cookware. The stuff is great!
