Is there a way to alter the copy speed for nero burning to DVD-R

Nero is the most User unfriendly crap I have ever had the displeasure to use.

Purchase an HP drive and us the HP software, it is a delight.

Comparing DVD's to Cd's does not help, does your writer support DVD-R's? Are you trying to copy a CD onto a DVD? What are you trying to burn, and how are you going about it? Nero will copy and write DVD-R's just fine, I think you are doing something wrong, but we need more info.

Your dvd recorder disk drive may not be dvd- compatible. I know my one is only dvd+ compliant.

are you sure to have a dvd+-r+-rw device???

try dvd+r+rw or dvd+-r+-rw

Nero has an option to tell you what device, speed, burning capabilities, etc.. does your device has

Try a +R. I bet it will work.
