There are no more slaves, so why do you deserve resperations?

They don't deserve them, they werent even alive in the slave era! so why do they deserve it?

because it is bred in most of them to want something for free. but they say it was for being treated wrong during slavery, i do not agree with slavery, it shouldn't have happened, but they are just like so many other people who look for any excuse to not have to work or do something for themselves.

If an af-am can prove that they have an ancestor that was a slave, then they should be paid the wage that the ancestor earned. So, if they were worth a penny day back then, that is what they get now. Even with inflation and any necessary interest it would still work out to be about 2 pennies a day.

Respirations? Why do they deserve to breath? I hope you mean Reparations.
The reason is Equity. It's a part of American law.
Here is a hypothetical: Your ancestor of 200 years ago is forced to work for 0 pay. For 20 years, the ancestor works a job that would have earned x salary per year, for a total of 20x. This is money that would have funded the education of your ancestor's children. The lack of that education results in less pay for your ancestors children, etc. It takes money to make money. Because a person's ancestor was cheated out of money, their family suffers the consequences. That means you too.
However, it's a little late to be seeking reparations. Thats why things such as the statute of limitations and the laches defense exist.

I dont know why...
Just because thier Great-Great-Great-Grandfather or Mother was a slave, doesnt mean that you should be entitled to wages that were earned by them...
But remember, they were given free room and board, to compensate for wages, and were allowed to share crop the land in which they were living on.
They were comensated for thier time and effort, in ways we dont know about...
But, I will admit, that the life of a slave was not a "glamerous thing", as it was hard work. But, It was "legal to own slaves" back then, so, there shouldnt be reperations, unless the Jewish People get reperations from Egypt, for when they were held for 400 years in bondage, eh?
What happened in the past, should be let to rest in the past. Live for the future, and never forget the past, because if you do, then we may be doomed to repeat it...
Lets learn from it and move on. Reperations are not called for, because no one in this generation has earned a nickel of the work that they did in the past.
This may come across as me being prejudice, and Iam not, but, I dont think that modern Day African Americans are entitled to anything that they didnt earn. If you were in slavery today, then yes, you could say you earned it.
Remember, the Government NEVER kept its promise to the Indians, or blacks or anyone else, and I dont expect them to start now...

i don't think every black is lazy and wants a free ride. as for resperations, that's pretty essential for everyone. it's a breathing thing. oddly spelled, but still a breathing thing.
what i want to know is if they want french benefits with that.

Most black Americans don't think that way, its the EXTREMELY vocal minority who consider themselves "leaders of the black community" who uses the concept of reparations as a tool to incite strife between the races, keep the masses ignorant, and build their power base.
