You can do a table in Excel with all the information you need then create a mail merge document in Word to print only the name and address for multipul lables.

in case you have word you ought to use that to write up and print labels. click on Mailings > Labels (word 2007). Then opt for the suited length labels you opt for to print - they might desire to compare the label sizes of the labels you purchase which will properly be offered from a stationers (e.g. Ryman's) or place of work international, etc. trouble-free.

For simple jobs u can use MS paint. You can also use microsoft word to print envelops and labels. The best program to do custom labelling etc. is MS Publisher.

there are many off-the-shelf programs that make mailing labels.
MS Word will allow you to import from some databases too.
