"worship Me or burn for eternity" sounds pretty self-righteous to me.

I'm going to focus on the fact that the Hitler comment was hypothetical, because obviously he was not a Christian (or at least not in God's oppinion) Don't worry, each person will have to account for their life and for their sins in front of God. Don't worry about everyone else, God will deal with them as He sees fit.
Basically, God is the Creator. He has the first and the final say. You or I may not find it fair, I know...but that doesn't change anything. What you should be concentrating on is not the FAIRNESS of God's laws, however try to Accept it. You may feel you have found a flaw in God's reasoning, in his judgement...but truly He wrote the rules and knows the truths of this world more than you or I could ever know. He sees deeper inside of every person than we ever could.
The fact that you don't "buy into Jesus" is either a choice you have made and are willing to accept the concequences, or a lack of a real explanation. It's can be so hard today to connect with religion, because we are in a society where if we don't like some law, we just make a vote and change it. That's not how God's laws work. And don't worry, it's not just you that doesn't like all of God's laws, the first humans Adam and Eve broke them as soon as they got a chance. It's in our nature as sinners.
You are a good person, I'm sure. This world NEEDS good people. However, HEAVEN needs Christians. That's what it was made for. You don't HAVE to go to hell, but it is ultimately a choice with someone as educated as yourself. Give yourself a chance. This is why so many people have turned athiest, because they are unwilling to accept God's laws and teachings, and they know they can't get away with just half-believing, so that must fully deny His existence to be able to cope with their fears and sleep at night as best they can.

If the good news of salvation (God's free gift of eternal life, through confession & faith) is presented to you correctly, and you don't receive it. (Like Adolph Hitler, who is in hell right now.) You will go to hell to be with Hitler.
Jesus said that whoever denies Him, He will deny before the Father. People do get their names blotted out of the Lamb's book of Life. It is because some don't ever receive God's Love, even at the death bed.
Jesus shed His own pure blood for the remission of our sins. The wages of sin is death. Jesus had victory over death & hell when He rose from the dead. Since He never sinned, death could not hold Him in the grave.
Basically everyone has sinned some where, some how. You are no exception. God loves you sooo much. That is why He sent His Only Begotten Son. Because, You need a Saviour.
The keys to heaven's gates is confession & faith. Peter confessed Jesus as the Christ & the Son of God...
I have prayed about Hitler. He was an antichrist. He never repented & He is in hell right now.

Christ's grace was offered to you both. In your hypothesis, Hitler accepted it, you rejected it. You sent yourself to burn. Get it? It isn't about what you have done that is good in life. Lots of people do good, it is about accepting Christ's gift of salvation. Anyone can have it. It would be like like this, say you and Hitler are stranded in the desert. Some car dealer comes along with car hauler, and offers you and Hitler each a brand new car, Hitler gets in and drives away, you close your eyes, say there is no car dealer, and end up dying in the heat. It's not the car dealers fault. (He may have laughingly pinched himself to see, but he knows he is there, and that he offered....he can't make you take the ride.) Toast if you want to, I bet you won't be laughing much when you figure out that they don't sell burn gel in hell.

Not really if you believe in God and the Bible, because God is the greatest mass murderer in history.
References: Genesis 6:11-17 and Genesis 7:11-24
Some examples:
GE 6:13 - And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
GE 6:17 - And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
Seems to me that God (for you believers) is annoyed with humanity other than his buddy Noah, and decides to kill (murder) every living thing on the face of the earth, except of course Noah and his family - got to have a few friends left.
God also allowed women raped and your little children slaughtered.
From God’s so called Bible - Isaiah 13:15-18
“Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.”
How any decent person can believe and follow the Bible is beyond imagination, seems like religious people just ignore the bits they dislike and twist the rest into a happy delusion, much like the behaviour of drug addicts.

Don't forget this is an all loving god who burns you for eternity. I am sure glad my parents did not show there love like him. Do you get to come out of hell? No. How would you learn a lesson? What good would that do, less god is a sadistic god, who loves to watch. Hell sounds like a nice place. Over all, this stuff helped make me atheist.

What you need to understand is that God doesn't send you to hell, you choose to go there. God doesn't send anyone to hell. God has given everyone a choice. Follow me or follow satan. If you follow me you go to heaven, follow satan and you go to hell. People are always saying if God is such a loving God, why would he send people to hell? God sent his one and only son to die for everyone. That was an act of love. Going to hell is a chosen punishment. Jesus made a way for you to be saved. but you have to take the gift he is offering you in order to be saved. God doesn't want anyone to go to hell, but many do because they refuse to accept Christ. God cannot make anyone accept him into their lives, in fact he never forces anything on anybody. It's a free choice. It says in Romans 3:23 For all have sinned an fallen short of the glory of God. So the first thing you need to do is admit that you are a sinner and that you have an unclean heart. Then you need to admit that to Christ and ask him to forgive you. You need to believe in him and choose to have him in your life.
John 14:6 " I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me".

All sin is equal save one--to never accept Jesus. So whether you told a lie or killed someone, you're equally guilty.
And, hypothetically speaking, Hitler would get his just desserts. He would feel guilty both on earth and in heaven. When God judges those who accepted him, he gives them crowns based on their deeds. Those who sinned less get more crowns. These crowns are to be thrown at Jesus' feet. So Adolph, who would have very few, would be sad that he had sinned so often.

If he in fact asked forgiveness of his sins, and confessed Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, then yes, he went to heaven upon his death.
There was a Roman centurion that assisted in the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. As Christ breathed His last, the centurion confessed that he believed Christ as the Son of God. Upon his confession he was forgiven. Although we have no further mention of this centurion, I am sure he went to heaven upon his death, because of his confession.
The One who knows you best, loves you most!
It is a foolish thing indeed to turn from the truth.
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."
On that day, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Answer to question 1) Yes you will if you don't change your heart and accept Jesus.
Answer to question 2) No, there's no flaw with God. The flaw is with you and your choices. It's that simple
