My girlfriend of 2 years is a virgin and i'm one two.we've been thinking about sex for a while now,so i finally decided to talk about it.I told her to take birth control,so she wouldn't end up pregnant,i'm not trying to be a teenage father. But,out of curiousity,i know this may sound dumb, but can we catch as std even if both of us are virgins. Its my first time, the only time i'm going without a condom, thats my only worry.PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK,NO IDIOTS

yes actually you can catch something if it's both your first time...she could be born with something or you could to and it could be passed on also if you guys have herpes which alot of people are born with but in your mouth and you have oral you can also give or recieve genital herpes which is not cool...don't do it wait for along time if I could take back my first time I would.

If neither of you has had sexual contact (including oral) before you should both be free of STDs, but you should still use a condom to be on the safe side. Besides, you do not want to take risks like this being so young when it comes to the possibility of pregnancy. No birth control is 100% effective all of the time.
That said, there are other things... like yeast infections that aren't necessarily considered an STD, but could be transmitted between two people having unprotected sex. Obviously, this won't kill either of you - but will require an antibiotic to treat.
If both of you are certain the other is completely healthy and everything is in tip-top working order and decide to go condom-less anyway, don't stress too much over the STD. Enjoy your experience, but be sure to use condoms from that point on!!! Very important!

If you are both virgins you have not yet been exposed to any STDs, so you are safe in that respect. But ALWAYS use a condom. Don't rely on her birth control method, whatever that may be. Condoms are 99% effective in preventing pregnancy (as well as protecting against most STDs). Never use an oil-based lubricant with a condom as they can damage it beyond repair in as little as 60 seconds. If you use a lubricant, use KY jelly or Astroglide - available in any drugstore.

No, you cannot catch STD if you are both virgins, BUT you should still use a condom...prevent pregnancy. Better yet, you should both wait. Teenagers are too young to have sex! Really, should be married first (in about 5+ years).

Yes and no...you cannot catch anything from each other that is only sexually transmitted, because neither of you has had sex before...
However, there are things that can be transmitted sexually, that can also be transmitted and acquired in non-sexual ways (so either of you could have that type of illness now, and maybe not know it)...therefore, a condom should still be used...

No but Use a Condom. You two are virgins that means you have never exchanged bodily fluids. Be careful you are young and she could get pregnant anyways with the condom it takes up to 1 to 2 weeks of Birth Control before it starts working. So dont rush and remember once you have sex the relationship could become just sex and you could be dissapointed.

Herpes (AKA cold sores) can be passed without ever having regular sex before. Some parents accidentally give it to their infant children just by not washing their hands.
Some STDs are passed on to babies when they are being birthed or while they are in the uterus (AIDS, Herpes, Syphilus).
Other things can be passed with previous oral sex experience too (Gonnoreia (sp)).
Also, make sure that you REALLY trust her that she is virgin. People do lie, and a lot will say, "but that one didn't count."
Incest can easily be forgtten also.

It would be sad to catch something from her after two years of waiting.

Virgins can still have STD's from being passed down through parents....Having sex without a condom is not a good idea these days unless you boil your partner in water first....
