the last ninja,
It's been in the news for a few days. I think that the Lebanese are not against the war, they are against Israel. They love Hezbollah and were claiming victory.

Its like a democrat who loses an election but its a moral victory.

Thank God during world war 2 we had no moral victories!

You're conflating two completely different things.

The Lebanese didn't win a war. They haven't even claimed they have. Not a single Lebanese soldier participated in the fighting, despite the wholesale destruction of their nation by Israeli bombs.

It is Hizbollah that has claimed victory. Not the Lebanese state.

Whether or not it was Hizbollah or Israel that won this war, the one thing you can say for sure is that Lebanon lost.

first of all, Israel did not loose adversarial to Lebanon. 2d, its not person-friendly to assert Israel has the 4th maximum excellent military in the international even as Israel has more effective efficient experienced men than maximum armys in the international, and also has more effective efficient technologies than lots of the international places in the international. if i had to %., i'd say that Israel probaly has the most excellent military in the international. its a remember of high quality over volume. constructive there are different international places which have excelent armies, yet i guess that if Israel might want to of been in the conflict with iraq instead of united states, they could of already defeated them. so no they didnt get defeated in lebanon and definite they could win a conflict in the destiny.

Lebanon (Hezbollah) is claiming victory because Israel did not accomplish any of her stated goals. The only thing Israel accomplished was wanton destruction of private property and killing hundreds of innocent people.

That could hardly be considered "victory."

BTW, Lebanon wasn't the aggressor, Lebanon was defending herself from Israeli aggression.

I assume it is because so many innocent men, women, and children have been killed in Lebanon. They are tired of having to live in fear, just as we all would be. I only hope that the slaughter has stopped on both sides.

To have gotten rid of such enormous enemy as Israel, the land of hatred, which happens to have the support of the EMPIRE OF HATRED (US), it is a great victory. They do not think like you think, they are not death hungry, they were defending their land and have won because the invader had to leave...
This is a MASSIVE victory!!
