When people say to me, "Harriet, you're an disgusting old pro" I reply "It's better than being a pretentious, greedy, uncaring, hateful, racist, child hating, dog's arsesniffing mother f*cker like you".They stand corrected but never apologise for calling me names.

No idea why people would be treating you this way. Get the language barrier straightened out first thing. The reason why people curse, for the most part is that they don't know the proper name or pronounciation for things. Go back to school and meet some rich doctor. A proctologist should cure all of your ffing problems.

It's quite possible that the speaker was attempting to be humourous, and friendly, but maybe you misunderstood.
