You know its sad, but you might be onto something, maybe on rainy days some people don't find any thing outdoors to do so they go to church, that is sad, because Church and God should come first.

At my church it does...but 70% of the families that attend are farmers. On sunny days they are out working their butts off, and unfortunately breaking the sabbath. When it rains, they all come in droves to thank the Good Lord for the earth cleansing, crop saving rains....(and maybe asking for a little forgivness for the last 5 Services they missed...)

At our church the regular attendants come on rainy days but we get less visitors

Not at my church. when it is raining, many people don"t show up. They need to be there every time the doors are open unless they are sick, or have a death in the family. It is no excuse to miss church, just because it rains.

It is true. More men especially. their games and such get cancelled on the count of rain.

yes people cannot go out so they go to church..
