I'm curious to know what it is about Firemen that women find so attractive?

I'm a 28 year old Firefighter from Southern California, and I wanted to get a basic understanding with women about what it is with Firemen they find so attractive and whatnot? I know the uniform thing is obvious but is that it, or is there more to it?

The firefighter is an archetype of the perfect hero. Many people young and old male and female are drawn to what they regard as a hero, though they show their attraction in different ways. A firefighter is also thought to be in good physical shape and for some reason their is something about uniforms.

The firefighter also has a special place in the hero archetype. That of the uncomplicated hero savior. His only goal and purpose is to save people. The soldier, or warrior, is often regarded as a hero but is also a destroyer and people have become more averse to war or violence in the recent past. The police officer can also be heroic but often people have trouble moving past his role as an authority figure. The athlete and movie stars can be portrayed as heroic and many are physically attractive, but people also see them as tainted by the fact that their heroism is staged and that they make a ridiculous amount of money. A doctor also is heroic, again they make much better compensation and don't seem to put themselves into such risky situations.

I am of course writing in broad generalities.

i think of it somewhat is the uniform and the undeniable fact that firemen look greater truthful and upstanding than another adult men in uniforms. i think of cops look distinctly solid in a uniform yet they have a tendency to have undesirable reputations with women folk. Firemen are not as tainted with the recognition, a minimum of i do no longer think of they're.

We are attracted to men that go all out in a situation that deems control, heroic, helpful and physical. Firemen are all that and more. I am dating a fireman and just love how he takes control of a situation that others might avoid. You are the elite. While everyone is running out you all are running in. Hope this helps.

I think why b/c Fireman works a lot and they risk there life to save people and thats why a firemens are hot and a lot of em are good looking

I personally don't have a thing for fireman.The 24 hours shifts you guys work would be a problem for me.Mabey women like firemen because it like you can "save' them from harm.

Its basically the uniform and the fact that you have a "manly" job. Its like the whole prince rescuing the princess from the burning castle thing.

The courage factor and making that huge of a life saving decision less than a second without doubts. Also, the calendar is a big plus!!

the uniform is definately a plus but i think it is more so that they are out there risking their lives to save people i mean that can be real sexy and shows that u care more about others than u do yourself and i think that is what most women are looking for in life.

It's the uniform and the fact that you run in buildings that are on fire. It's the heat!
