Ok well I really like this one girl, but I am not sure what to do, because I am a popular guy and the girl I like is not. I think she hates me because last year I spread a humor about one of her friends and also because I was a major asshole. But how can I show that I have changed since last year? I am willing to be nice to her friends and ask her out even though it will kill my reputation..... I don't really care about the other people but how am I supposed to show her i care for HER with out her rejecting me as soon as I walk in her direction?

First, start talking to her, and let her know that you know you were a jerk last year, then try to become her friend. It will take a while, but smile at her and say hello when you see her in the hallway. Give it some time after that, then ask her to a football game or the movies or something. Good luck.

I would start by being nice and just talking to them. Mention that you were an asshole last year and that you have changed and you are really sorry for how you acted. I would not jump into saying okay, now that's out of the way, want to date me. I would be around them and make sure they know you were truthful about being sorry, show them who you are without being the asshole and then maybe she will hit on you. If not, make settle hints like, hey what ya doing this weekend...or so what do you do when you aren't at school, or can we hang out sometime... You must prove you aren't the asshole they think you are. If you really like her you will and then you will prove to her that you are the guy for her. I'm sure you will come up with something.

hey man first popularity is nothin. think about it. after you graduate you won't see the"cool" people everyday. and you'll have wasted your whole childhood doing what is cool most of the time that means not doing homework you'll keep getting stupider untill you wish you would've done your homework. if you really like her leave a note in her locker or something if you dont want to talk to her let me know how it turns out

start being really nice to her friends (espically the one you spread the rumor about) and just randomly go up and talk to them. it will blow their minds and it may make them a little suspicious at first, but if you prove to be sincere and really different from what you were, she just might come around. then make sure to appologize to her friend, make sure she knows this, and then become her friend, then if you get to know her and really really still like her, and she likes you, then you should ask her out
