My boyfriend and I were together for a couple of months when he started acting distant and I broke up with him before he could do it to me. It's pretty much the only fight we've had. Now he says it was a misunderstanding . He says the reason he didn't call was because he thought it's what I wanted. But something else he said was that it was a good test for me. I hate mind games, and this one kinda hurt... Now I'm emotionally confused, and even though I like the guy, I've taken a step back.

My question is... Should I turn it around on him, and play his game against him. Should I stay with him, trust him, and give him a chance... (or) Should I just let him and the whole situation go?

Mind games are a cowards way of finding out how someone really feels. It leaves the victim feeling like they were duped. Which, in your case you were. This guy has no right to play games with you. Its immature and show the true side of his charechter. I would suggest that you forget him and find someone who will respect you enough to be honest and open with you. No need to lower yourself to his level.

You both sound very young and immature. You do not break up with someone before he can do it to you - you be direct and ask him what's going on and if you should be concerned, positive construction instead of destruction. Games are juvenile. Don't be in relationships with someone who will play games with your heart, and don't play games with theirs. Forget about this young man and become wiser for it.

If there is love left, try a different approach - throw out the games and petty fights and make a promise to each other to *communicate*
