Hello!

I am researching Mormonism, and I have 6 questions....Looking for members of the LDS church.

I am not trying to attack anyone, I am trying to be as objective as possible, and a book of Mormon is in the mail. However, I am a christian.

It won't let me post all the questions with the references here(too long)...So I posted them online at www.allaboutjoshua.com or http://joshuafkon.googlepages.com/questions

Thank you very much for your help,

God bless,

Josh

IfI saw an asnwer you picked as best for this same quetsion before, and she did a great job of answering these questions. If you still need more info, ask the missionaries to come over.

You already asked this a few days ago...

You are one of many who is looking for physical "proof" because of one thing you have heard or read...
I challenge you to read the Book of Mormon, cover to cover, ask you Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, if it is true. If you are truly sincere and humble, you will receive an answer. It may not come as soon as you think it should, for all things happen in the Lord's timeline and according to his will. I caution you to not look for these "signs" and "proof", you will never receive an answer. The spirit can witness much more strongly than any "proof" anyone can ever give you, for the spirit is the Lord's proof.

Because the Modern day prophet can change scripture o how he feels.

Just like when they made a Temple in Brazil in the 70's, but only white people where allowed to go to the temple they changed scripture. The black skin curse of Cain was changed. No it deals with purity instead of skin color.

Mormonism today is not a practice of Joseph Smith it is modern LDS which has good family values and fellowship that outwardly satisfy people.

I am an amateur theologist too and I researched mormonism a while ago. The best source, first hand, is http://www.exmormon.org/
These guys there went through everything. Current mormons won't tell you much. Even because the church hides some things from them.

The department of archaeology of BYU was created to prove the Book of Mormon. Some years later the founder of the department left his work and the church, realizing the fraud.

The "truth" of the book can only come by a witness of the spirit. But there are answers to all your questions, and plenty of evidence that supports the book.
I recommend you spend some time on this website:
