A DVD won't play in your CD Walkman so there's no sense in trying to do this.

To burn a DVD, you need a DVD burner. A CD burner won't work.

If your CD Walkman won't play MP3s you only have a couple of options. One or course would be to get a new player; they're certainly cheap enough these days. Oh, and BTW, most won't play .wav files so that's not going to work.

The other option would be to break the file into two parts and burn each to a CD in CD Audio format. You'll have to switch CDs half way through, but you can do this without buying a new player.

down load a program called audacity its free cut the file into 2 parts and burn to 2 cds or try to reduce the bit rate
or get a dvd burner which still will not play on your cd player

if your cd player does not play mp3's you need to convert the file into a .wav file which will make it even bigger so my advice is go out and buy a cheap mp3 player you can pick em up for a bout a tenner,
