Why limit access to divine inspiration? Why not think, believe and expect that access to divine inspiration is limitless? I theorize that the myth of limited access to divine inspiration reflects the need and aspiration of a mercenary plutocratic predatory few to maintain and achieve authority, power, order, and control by establishing ideological authorities as intermediaries between the profane and sacred: communities of faithful believers and god. Once authority, order and control are achieved and maintained the mercenary plutocratic predatory few may then patronize those ideological authorities that best motivate communities of faithful believers to out work, out fight, and out number the rest of the planet and thereby satisfy the need and aspiration of the state dominated by a mercenary plutocratic predatory few to achieve and maintain power. From claims of exclusive access to divinely inspired truth follows the power to make laws of God out of the laws of state. From claims of exclusive access to divinely inspired truth follows the power to make the idea of God into the ultimate state sponsored surveillance system. From claims of exclusive access to divinely inspired truth follows the power to define the meaning of life as a test of character and define the value of each individual according to their record of conforming to a standard of conduct established by a judgmental perfectionist god that is all-knowing, all-seeing, condemns the lawless to eternal torment, and rewards the lawful with eternal bliss. From claims of exclusive access to divinely inspired truth follows the power to control communities of faithful believers by employing fashion police to punish those who noticeably deviate from a standard of conduct dictated by fashion reality masquerading as discovery of spiritual truth. From claims of exclusive access to divinely inspired truth follows the power to motivate communities of faithful believers to out work, out fight, and out number the rest of the global culture in a race to win the game of survival and sacrifice.

God is actually very busy reading Little Red Riding Hood to some illiterate aliens in Beta Canum Venaticorum in the Canes Venatici constellation and after that has an appointment with Shiva, Mahoma and Budda to discuss amendments to the adultery policies.
Please do not wait for the Old Man and read the Old and New Testaments by yourself. If you are in a hurry try the Bible for Dummies compentium

Jesus said, "I AM the Way, Truth & Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." This is written in the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is inspired of God and is Truth. God reveals His will in the Holy Bible.
The Holy Bible reveals to us how to be restored & have a personal relationship with God. It is the Good News in the Holy Bible. Once a person is born of God, one prays to the Father and / or the Son through the Spirit of Truth & forgiveness 24/7.
When we become part of the family of God, by trusting & obeying God & his will, God confirms truth & guidance for daily living. God tells us in personally.
When I seek Him, the more I find Him. The more I find Him, the more I love Him.
God loves us & talks to us personally.

Here's the way I look at it. God's will for you can't be found in a book, it is something you find or are shown on you own. God's will for mankind is what is found in a book. It is meant to show how we need to treat others as well as ourselves. God has a purpose for each of us. If they were all written in a book, it would take forever to read.

Look at all the people who claim to be holy ghost filled. Supposedly they have a direct line to God-look at how screwed up they are. God wanted to make sure we had a way to test the spirit. His word never changes. If some has a revelation-and it does not line up with the written word-then, its not from God.

Because God doesn't exists and the Holy Book (Bible) is all that's left of the fantasy imaginary world religion has created. Hoever, the Bible is really just a fake story, perhaps a bit like the Loch Ness monster tales.
When we pass on information to another (example: story, joke, description of something etc) by the time these details are passed on by word of mouth, interpreted by others, and then written down, the final details are typically quite different than the original information.
Since the Bible is just a man-made story passed down over many years in various forms, the chance of it being accurate in any shape or form is remote.
There are people who swear blind that the Loch Ness monster exists regardless of all the evidence to the contrary, but a fence post bobbing up and down in the Loch does the trick. Similarly there are people who swear blind that God exists and the Bible is fact, yet there isn’t one blind bit of evidence to support such theories.
Biblical tales are really no different than Loch Ness monster tales, just the era is different.

He does! Read the Holy Bible and find out. If He spoke to you in person, how would you know it was God? Maybe it would be Satan pretending like he was God. God wrote it all down in The Holy Bible so you could read it and know it is Him talking to you and not Satan. Read it to find out.

None of us can understand God's will by simply reading the Bible, we must PRAY to God that he may reveal the scriptures to us> We also pray to God so that we may know how to live and act according to his holy will. SIN is what seperates us from God, we try to achieve holyness by praying to God and studying his word, the Bible>

Do you complain when someone calls you that you have to pick up the phone to answer them? Do you complain when someone sends you mail that you have to open and read it? Do you complain when your favorite author publishes a book to convey their vision to you? God left a message for anyone willing to answer it. You may answer yes or no but you'll never know unless you check the message.
