Her mom may want a son in law, but she certainly doesn't want her daughter's marriage to end in unhappy divorce because it simply wasn't meant to be. Mom's happiness can wait for the right time. Do what you need to do - she has no business in your relationship anyway. This is a decision between you and your girlfriend. Talk to her.. let her break news to mom.

tell the girl that u think its best if u guys break up. if u really care about her mom then stay friends with her mom but not too close friends cuz then her mom and ur gf r gonna have fights about u. but if u like wanna cut off all connections with her family then tell ur gf but dont tell her mom, ur gf will.

Marriage is too permanent to do just because her mom wants you to be her son in law. You don't have to tell her mom anything just don't purpose marriage to the girl and you'll be alright.

if you dont like the girl, break up with her. Don't worry about the mom, she'll have to deal with the fact that your not happy with her daugter.

if ti doesn't feel right then the first person you should tell is your girlfriend.not her mother.plus why be with someone if it doesn't feel right?You need to find the person whose right for you and that it feels right to be with her.
