i too suffer from it, i read to relax myself in bed and i also try and do a quick relaxation technique before i fall asleep,
i start at my feet and slowly work up my body and tell each part of my body to go to sleep, it doesnt always work, but it reduced the amount of panic attacks i have had over the past few years,
sex is also good to relax!
Its all about chilling out before going to sleep it aint easy, i know because i sleep average 4-5 hours each night and it takes an age to fall asleep and stay sleeping

There are some really good relaxation tapes and Cd's that you can buy to help with panic attacks and general stresses but if these panic attacks continue i would seek medical advice. There is obviously an underlying problem to cause these attacks.

See the doctor about it he can help. Also the breathing into a brown paper bag does work , sit with you chest facing the back of a dinning table chair, sit upright with you arms resting on the back , relax and breath steadily into the bag. Hope it helps.

think about something or somewhere where you have been or want to go with no problems like floating on the soft clouds. This works for me I close my eyes tight and i imagine i am floating in the sky above the clouds touching my skin, than eventually the panic attacks ease up. Good luck with this

I used to get them a lot, and the best thing to do is to recognize it while it's happening, and try to think about something happy/calming while taking deep breathes - in through the nose, out the mouth. If it gets to the point where it is out of hand and a serious problem, see your doctor. They may prescribe anti-anxiety medication.

They suggest breathe slowly into a bag if you start to hyper ventilate.
I've suffered panic attacks myself. They make me feel so ill, I feel like I'm going to suffer a heart attack.

Some would call this a Succubus. A Devil like creature that sits on your chest!
Of course this is all a big pile of doo daa!! I'd recommend you see your Doctor! It sounds a bit like night paralysis!

Try relaxing and turning off your mind before you go to bed, don't read a book about health or watch tv with alot of controversies.
Try a cup of herbal tea.
