Do you mean Kevin Trudeau? I don't know if his book got banned but I know it got panned do to the fact he has no medical background or knowledge and his book could cause a lot of harm. I think due to freedom of the press though, no action was taken on the book other than to broadcast on the news how harmful the book could be and that the guy was a phony.
