I hope not! If so, they need to stay away from the following!
Sorcery
(Includes any of the following:) Divination/Magicians/Witchcraft/Wizards/Soothsayers/Necromancers/
Fortunetellers/Astrologers/Familiar Spirits/Charmers/Black Magic/Ouija boards/ Dungeons and Dragons/Harry Potter, ETC.
Any and all of the above are Satanic or demonic or both. We humans are to have nothing to do with them. They cannot help us . They will only bring harm to us, now, in the future or in eternity.
“31Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.” Leviticus 19:31.
“11Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.” Deuteronomy 18:11-14.
“19And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?” Isaiah 8:19. (We are to seek God, not the dead.)
“Â 2Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.” Daniel 2:2. (Chaldeans were known for their magic.)
“10The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.” Daniel2:10.
“6And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus: 7Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. 8But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. 9Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him. 10And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?” Acts 16:6-10.
“8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8. (Sorcerers are headed for the Lake of Fire, the second death.)
“14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Â 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” Revelation22:15. (The tree life is eternal life, the city here is Paradise.)
God does not approve of anyone attempting to learn of the future except what He has revealed in The Holy Bible. He does not approve of anyone attempting to contact the dead for any reason. He does not approve of playing games or telling stories about sorcery. Anyone who does these things or anyone who consults such is in danger of burning in hell forever.
