Are you prepared if there is a heaven an a hell? If I believe there is and there isn't, I've lost nothing. If you believe there isn't and there is, look what you've lost!

I dont know if you realise that there being no life after death is not a scary thought and it poses no threat. If there is no life after death, then I lose nothing in preparing for there to be one. However, we lose everything if we do not prepare for life after death and there is one dont we?
Granted, life after death may very well be different than what I believe it to be, and I could be wrong. But it is better to prepare for all possibilities than to not prepare for any.

Grow up.
There is no magic candy-land after we die.
To quote the song "at my funeral" by The Crash Test Dummies;
"I'm still young but I know my days are numbered.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 and so on.
But a time will come when those numbers have all ended.
And all I've ever seen will be forgotten".
That's the best description of life and death I've ever read. After you die, nothing.
Please grow up and stop believing in a fantasy.

Ok.. but this is a revolving question.. what if there is a heaven and a hell..wouldn't you rather believe and hope you are going to heaven? I rather at least do what is right here on earth in hopes that when I die God will be pleased with me and let me in to heaven..and if there is neither then at least I did my best to try to make this world a better place.while I was here. God bless you.

I really don't know what after death so I'll just have to accept what happens. So yes I'm prepared in a sence mentally.

This life is all we get. I want to be as happy as I can during this life, and I want to help others as much as I can so I can, in that sense, live on after I die.
So it matters a lot to me what I and others believe now. Religions make life worse for people. I'm happier without religion, and that matters a lot.

I've considered many possibilites of what happens when we die, and the only people with the true story of what happens can't tell us. (Obviously). And I agree that single-mindedness about death isn't healthy. If you die and the afterlife is completely different from what you expect, you'll be mighty disappointed.

Are you prepared for the possibility that you are going to hell for trying to trick people out of their religion so that they will accept the heinous evil that is part of your hideous marxist agenda?
Seriously dude. You have put in your lot with those responsible for the cruel deaths of hundreds of millions of innocent people. If that doesn't put one's soul in jeopardy, nothing will.

I'm completely prepared to embrace my belief and completely prepared to let you embrace yours, whoever is right, is pretty much up to the afterlife, but to me it seems as if you are the one who isn't prepared. And yes my way is single-minded. i don't mind. Since you're the open-minded one, just accept it.

Who knows what will happen. I am sure I'll be surprised, but it will hopefully be fun. I try to focus on this life now as there might not even be an afterlife.

That'd be kind of odd, because my belief is that it doesn't matter, not because I'm athiest but because I'm agnostic: you can't know. Anything's possible, and chances are saying that you "know" isn't going to help (or hurt) except for how it interacts in your material existence.
