For the past month I've been working out a lot. 40 min of weights 6 days a week, 60 min of cardio 6 days a week. I am following Weight Watchers also. At times I feel like I'm getting in better shape, but then I put on my pants that used to fit me like 3 months ago, and they are tight. What gives???? It makes me feel like a failure.

You still want to give it more time. If you've been doing weight watchers, you have likely been losing some weight. Their program is sane and I like the results I've seen with other people.

You don't mention how much you weigh and how much you've lost. Your pants may not fit because of water retention or because they've shrunk. Heck, it happens.

Give it some more time. The results will come. You are doing the right thing. The cardio will certainly incinerate some calories and the weight lifting will boost your metabolism as well as put some muscle on you.

Good luck.

You are just getting muscle where your fat previously was. It's nothing wrong. As long as you stay healthy and fit it shouldn't matter what size you are. Also, it takes a lot of time to lose weight so it's nothing to be ashamed of. Keep up the good work!

IF you are lifting heavy weights, your fat has been replacing for muscle..That is good. For you to get in tone, you need to do less weigths and many repetitions burn the fat with out the muscle growing... check your routine.
