To be fair, I'm pretty sure there are even simple historical records dating back 10000 years ago.

But hey, you're the biblical scholar right? Even scientists think there was a great flood. Everyone died (though civilization was probably very basic back then, if it even existed) and we started over a few k later.

There were lots of religions then that we just don't know much about (think of figurines that are found at arch. sites). The reason only more recent religions have lasted to the present is because more recent societies have had the technology to preserve and spread their religions, whereas older societies were often isolated and had to preserve their ideas solely throlugh oral tradition.

Also, the newer religions often adopted pieces of the older ones, and so one might argue that many newer ones are just more developed versions of ancient religions. Christianity adopted many elements of paganism, as did Islam, and they both absorbed almost all of Judaic tradition.

If they were here that far back, they were just trying to survive.
Eat, sleep, procreate,Eat sleep, procreate, on and on.
We are sooo sophisticated today, aren't we?
We have technology.
We have good clothes.
We have transportation.
We can even fly.
We can communicate in an instant across the face of the earth.
We push a button, and something happens.
We pull a trigger and something dies.
We even have flush toilets.
We have running water, hot and cold.
We have automated heating and cooling systems.

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH THE TRASH?

They were hunting and gathering until about 10000 years ago, when agriculture was discovered and brought with it all of human civilization.

It stands to reason that some people would be born during this transitional time period. We're still transitioning.

Humanity developed before 3,000 years ago. You should study world history. Cave paintings were made long before then, and you should check out the history of ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia!

Why, they were busy evolving, of course! Interesting that mankind achieved little more than stone toolwork and primitive painting in all those centuries. Maybe a soul makes a real difference? Nah! That's too religious! RIGHT?????
