So my crush sits infront of me in class but when I need his help with something, and I'll be practically be yelling his name, he won't respond unless I touch him on the back! Is he deaf or does he like it when I touch him?

He doesn't do this all the time, only sometimes.

He might think you're not serious.......but for the record, a previous girlfriend of mine used to do the same to me and I thought it was very rude......needless to say we aren't together anymore. Good luck.

Maybe he is just really focusing on what is being said in class. Sometimes when I am really focused and my kids are talking to me I don't respond until they say something like, "See you're not listening." (usually my 15 yr. old). I hear them, but am just so focused on something else. If you really want to know, just kindly ask him if he has a problem with his hearing because sometimes you want to ask him something and he isn't responding to your voice. It is possible he has a slight hearing problem and not know it yet.

For shure he likes it, I had a simillar experience. Only I was the deaf boy.
Hey, it could be worse for you, he could be blind (if ya know what I mean ? *wink*).

He is either playing a game to get you to touch him, or he's shy and nervous and is overanalyzing how to respond when you say his name.
