The last time I put in a relaxer was June 20, 2006. Can I Dye the new growth?

You can color your hair. I recommend you deep condition because the point where the relaxer stops and the new growth start is very fragile. I would wait a few months myself because color changes the texture of your hair. Let your hair grow out and then work with it. You don't want to hinder the growth of all that healthy virgin hair. I don't know. I'm doing the same thing and my goal is to let ALL my perm grow out and be chemical-free. I would definately go see a beautician regarding dye for your hair. June is not that long ago, you may end up breaking your hair off at the point of your natural hair and the permed hair.

Yes, you can put a chemical over another chemical after a week. If you are only wanting to cover the gray try beautiful browns semi permanent color (available at Sally Beauty supply) - you can relax and color the same day with it.

u can color the regrowth and u can also pull through to the relaxed the last few minutes.. just watch it close and make sure u really condition the relaxed area before u color it..

Yes it is ok for you to color your hair now.....but you have to at least wait 4 weeks after you color your hair if you want to get a relaxer.

please dont dye your new growth because that would look nasty,beacuse your new groth is eather weavy or curly.you dont want to be lokking a hot mess
