Marfans syndrome?

Is anyone married to someone with a disease that they were born with? If so how did it work out and how did you deal with the problems that arose from the disease?

not married but i have a friend who has it..it financially, emotionally stressed. A lot of adjustments were done by family members. There were support groups that the doctor recommended....if i remember right, there was also genetic counseling that helped them understand the disease and its potential impact on future generations.
