I wouldn't worry about it. It might not actually be your toothbrush that is the problem. You may have damaged your tastebuds by eating highly acidic foods and the toothbrush may have just added further damage. I doubt a toothbrush is really strong enough to remove a tastebud, and you have so many tastebuds, if it removed one, why didn't it remove others?
But if in doubt, chuck away the toothbrush and get another.

If it took off a taste bud that is a pretty powerful toothbrush and I suggest that you stop using that toothbrush.

What?? That's disgusting! Stop right now! Get a sonic toothbrush - they're the works and they'll clean your tongue without removing vital bits!

Taken OFF a tastebud? Impossible without surgery or a major disfiguring accident. You may have scraped the top of it and if so, you're reallly brushing way too hard.

I wouldn't be too worried. If it bothers you though, quit using it and just use some other tongue cleaner, or don't scrape as hard.

I would suggest you stop using that toothbrush. It is important to clean your tounge, but that might be too harsh on your tounge.

WELL I SUGGEST YOU STOP USING THE TOOTH BRUSH BECAUSE IF IT HAS SCRAPED OF A TASTEBUD THEN YOU SHOULD THROW IT AWAY AND SEE YOUR DOCTOR.
