as so many have said:

welcome = willkommen
(like when you're telling someone welcome home or welcome in the U.S.A. ...)

But if you want to say "you're welcome", in reply to someone saying thank you, then it's
you're welcome = "bitte" or "bitte sehr" or "gern geschehen" or a number of other things...

Well if you are saying welcome like in welcome to my home, country etc. then Yes, the correct answer would be HERZLICH WILLKOMMEN.

But if you mean welcome as in the reply americans say after someone had said thank you then :

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT listen to what they are saying Honey ;)

You would NEVER SAY WILKOMMEN.... hahah that is so funny .... ;) yeah , literally translated welcome means willkommen, but germans dont say that in return of a thank you.

Here are the common things Germans would say ....

Bitte schoen ;) kinda like your welcome

Gern Geschehen ;) kinda like my pleasure

Kein Problem :) kinda like no problem

Immer wieder :) kinda like always again

Here these are the basic ones, there are more complicated ones, you could say Just in certain situations but that depends on the context of the situation and they cant be used all the time.

However you are sae using the ones I gave you , they are always appropriate ;)

Hope This Helps ;)
