Like meOmy said, Meditaion. Studies have shown it to increase calmness, awareness, intelligence (yes, there is a thickening of the neo cortex and increased neuroplasticity), and concentration. The simplest form of meditation is to sit comfortably and quietly somewhere, eyes closed, and concentrate only on breathing; the feel of it. If your mind starts to wander or follow a thougt, the moment you notice it, shift your attention back to your breathing. Do this for at least 5 min a day. When you are comfortable with this, add 5 min each week until you are up to 45 min. You can also meditate on other things, like work or projects, it's simply a practice of clear headed concentration. It will work.

Why on earth would you want to clear your mind ? Dont you really want to be able to cope better with what you are going through and in turn live a more productive life. I believe thats what most people want, because honestly and I am sorry if this hurts you, but to clear ones mind is just to want to escape from everything. And to escape everything is not going to solve your problems. There was this supposed funny little saying that went something like this: I got problems ,so i drink, get drunk, and fall over and their all gone, and in the morning when I get up they are back again, so I do it all over again ! Now Im not saying this is you, but the point is what you want is just an escape. And I believe that what you need and or want and dont even realize it is God !

Close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Watch it flow in and out. If you can't clear your thoughts doing this, think "om" (like the word home without the h sound).
Alternately, make a list of the other things that you need to take care of so you don't have to keep the mental list going. Focus on the task at hand, knowing the list will be there for the next adventure.

well the first soultion is prayer and meditation secound you might wanna take some time relax maybe watch a comedy it seems you might be stressed out also you might wanna try a naturel drug you can find in your vitamine section at your local wal-mart store this is actually an amino acid you resotre your searatonin levels in your brain if your are unable to concentrate that will help you focus better and last of all try getting plenty of excersice if your are not already doing that getting eat health meals like lots of fruits and vegatables and get atleats nine hours of sleep at night also hard physical labor is good for you like lawn mowing is good for you that is really all i have left well the best of luck of you take care and God bless

Get a tablet and pen and write down what you are thinking about. make a list...like a shopping list. get it out of your mind and onto paper. then you won't forget what you wanted to deal with. Then take a few minutes to pray to God and ask Him to give you wisdom and peace of mind.

you have to prioritise... and put all others to the back whilst you sort out the main proirity...and then as each thing is sorted put the next one up to priority and so on ...youll get there might take a bit longer but...you'll keep your sanity...

fasting. just coffee or tea in the AM if you usually do have it, and lots of water. you can think clearer, get more accomplished, and everything seems brighter & calmer. one day should do it.
