There are always going to be times when we really just don't like our parents. Sometimes, we can downright HATE them. It's OK. It doesn't mean we don't still love them. If you say stuff in your head like "Who the heck do you think you are?" or "Bite me!" or worse, it is natural. In the teen years, it is especially common because you are trying to show them that you are independent. As long as you can still say "I love you" to them and mean it, then things will be alright. If the anger gets to be too much to hold in, sit down and talk to them about it. "Mom, this is really making me angry, and I need to tell you." Good luck!

Hang up the phone. But I guess that's not an option for you yet.
