baby girl, eventhough he missed you, he would hide this true feeling. that's just how guys are. he probably went over the whole be with you/be without you in his mind already. and the nicest and the correct thing to say that he's the problem. nice guy, sounds like he wants his freedom.

It's the old Sienfeld "It's not you, it's me routine". It just means that for whatever reason you two didn't click. Not everybody has chemistry. You tried, and it didn't work out. It happens. Move on and find someone else. Good Luck.

He could simply have low self-esteem. or maybe he's just confused. Or maybe he's going through a rough time in his life. Either ways, all men are confusing at some point (even if they think they're not), so don't let it get you down. Asking him and being his friend are ways to get answers.
