God is a Spirit and must be worshipped with spirit and truth. True, we are made in His image, but not physically speaking, mentally speaking. We know how to love, feel, a sense of power, justice, so forth because God gave us these capabilities, on a much smaller scale than his.

Very often one will here the Arabic word "Allah" being used in regards to Islam. The word "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for Almighty God, and is the same word used by Arabic speaking Christians and Jews. If one were to pick up an Arabic translation of the Bible, one would see the word "Allah" being use where the word "God" is used in English. Actually, the Arabic word for Almighty God, "Allah", is quite similiar to the word for God in other Semitic languages—for example, the Hebrew word for God is "Elah". For various reasons, some non-Muslims mistakenly believe that Muslims worship a different God than Jews and Christians. This is certainly not the case, since the Pure Monotheism of Islam calls all people to the worship of the God of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and all of the other prophets. However, even though Jews, Christians and Muslims worship the same God—since there is only one God—their concepts concerning Him differ in some significant ways

We are created in God's image
In the Old Testament God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness" (Genesis 1:26). Jacob declared that he had seen God "face to face" (Genesis 32:30). Moses also spoke with God "face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend" (Exodus 33:11).
In the New Testament, when the Resurrected Christ appeared to His Apostles, He told them, "handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have" (Luke 24:39). Later Stephen testified that he saw Jesus "standing on the right hand of God" (Acts 7:56).
Modern-day revelation confirms these teachings from the Bible. God the Father and His son Jesus Christ, appeared to Joseph Smith in the spring of 1820. Joseph revealed that the Father and the Son each have a "body of flesh and bones as tangible as man's" (D&C 130:22).
God is our Heavenly Father, and we are created in his image.

Judaism considers 'God' to be pure spirit beyond the comprehension of the human mind.
Rather like the billions and billions of galaxies out there in the cosmos.

God is not human. God is, well, God! He is a spirit, He is not like us. Jesus, however, was like us. The bible says He was tested in all ways as we are tested, but was without sin. Jesus was God made flesh.
But the Father never slumbers nor sleeps. He is from everlasting to everlasting. He knows the numbers of hairs on your head, He knows your thoughts before you think them, and He loves you more than you can possibly imagine.

If you think Jesus Christ is not divine this verse could be for you. Notice I said "could" in a noncommital way.
Psalm 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest, this shall be the portion of their cup.
