brothers and sisters hate each other all the time. By the time you guys are in your 20's or so...(hopefully your not already) then she will come to realize she really just loved ya! And honestly, if you still hate each other by your 20's...be scared...

i feel that way too sometimes.. because of things in our past, not directly my fault, but family issues, i feel that she hates me sometimes. she's jealous. she's angry, she's hurt, and takes it out on me! but i haven't done anything but love her, try to be like her, respect her.. it's sad sometimes in families. :(

but i've grown up and realized that i don't resent her.. i love her MORE. i wish she could see that, i wish we could be good friends, close, caring, have fun together. but i cannot force her to be the way i want her to be. the only thing i've been doing is, to be as nice as possible w/o getting too close. try to help her when i can, but still concentrate on my own life. that is the only way, i believe, you will gain respect from her. to show her that Despite what she's done to you, you've been able to succeed and grow and become a good person. i think now that she is proud of me, but just doesn't always show it. she told me a few times that i was a good kid, and that my mom is lucky because i take care of her, da da da...and i never heard such words from her. i thought she saw me as stupid, nothing...so if YOU see urself as good, worthy, a great person, that's all that matters. u can't change what people think, and u can't be mean or wrong to that person, or u are continuing the cycle. just do all u can to stay positive, strong, dependable, and respectable..that way u can be a good example, and be able to handle Anything that comes in ur way. people who love u, and people who hate you. it'll be ok, because u'll know how to handle urself. just keep working on what is positive, healthy, and happy in ur life, and hopefully she will see what a great person u are and not have any reasons to hate u anymore.
