I guess that as long as your body is producing milk, then why not? Some babies just dont ever get the hang of it. If you run into problems dont worry about it too much. Maybe you could pump and store milk, or just use formula. It wont change the fact the your are a good mom :)

No, I surely have not heard that it incredibly is authentic in any respect. in many cases mastitis does not decide for surgical operation, till an abscess has formed on your breast--is that this the case? If no longer, then you definately could seek for suggestion from yet another wide-unfold practitioner. Mastitis is dealt with with antibiotics and relax and would clean up interior some days. it is likewise considerable which you nevertheless breastfeed for the period of the an infection and additionally after the surgical operation in case you do in certainty decide for surgical operation. it is painful, besides the undeniable fact that it is going to help to velocity your restoration. I had mastitis 2 cases and theory there became no way i could proceed breastfeeding, yet I did and that i'm so happy I perservered! dangle in there and seek for suggestion from a lactation representative for extra help!

You could breastfeed on only one breast if you had to. You might look a little lopsided during the period you nurse but your breast would make enough milk to feed the baby. I read an article about a woman who nursed twins on only one breast in Mothering Magazine.

should not be a problem..
But better find out the reason for the earlier mastitis and next time be careful about it ,especially during breast feeding period.
Also have a chat with the surgeon who did the surgery .okay ?

If you've still got the glands and everything, I don't see why not. But next time, make aboslutely sure that you do everything to prevent infections. Good luck.
