I also use tongs, I do not like locking ones. I will be out at the bbq and I get a laugh when they see me picking up my beer with the tongs.. Even inside the house it is a multy purpose tool.

As a professional, I will agree w/ the tongs. I just perfer the non-locking type. My back pockets disagree, but I don't use their input to tool my kitchen.

I love (LOVE) my spoontula. I can't remember where I got it from, but its a combo spoon and spatula that is nearly indestructable. I once forgot it in a pan of marinara sauce and it didn't so much as bend. Love it!

I like spoons because you can use them for anything, and you only need one to cook a whole stove top of food.

I hate doing dishes, so its out of my nesessity that I do.

It's my santoku knife. I'd be lost without it- I fee like a dweeb trying to cut with a chef's knife now that I'm accustomed to using the santoku style blade!

I LOVE my huge soup pot!! I really love to make big pots of soup. Any kind, from vegetable beef to chowder to Gumbo. Then invite people over, or freeze it for later when I
don't have time to cook.
