YES I CAN AND \ALL THE PEOPLE IN ALL OVER THE WORLD NEED TO LOVE GOD
Who is Allah?
Very often one will here the Arabic word "Allah" being used in regards to Islam. The word "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for Almighty God, and is the same word used by Arabic speaking Christians and Jews. If one were to pick up an Arabic translation of the Bible, one would see the word "Allah" being use where the word "God" is used in English. Actually, the Arabic word for Almighty God, "Allah", is quite similiar to the word for God in other Semitic languages—for example, the Hebrew word for God is "Elah". For various reasons, some non-Muslims mistakenly believe that Muslims worship a different God than Jews and Christians. This is certainly not the case, since the Pure Monotheism of Islam calls all people to the worship of the God of Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and all of the other prophets. However, even though Jews, Christians and Muslims worship the same God—since there is only one God—their concepts concerning Him differ in some significant ways.

Sure.
In fact, being religious (in the sense of belonging to and identifying with a single subsect of a religion or a narrow faction of a specific faith) can easily get in the way of truly loving G*D with all your heart, mind, and soul. If you fall pray to judging other people who believe differently than you... If you become willing to fight or die for your faith... Truly, even if you just love your fellow believers more than the random bum on the street, you are not loving G*D with everything you've got. Remember, G*D created all those other people and other faiths as well.

Sure, but loving God with all of your heart, mind and soul can be considered religious. Or do you mean following rituals? Rituals do not make the person for God knows what is truly in your heart.

I certainly think so. I don't believe (or rather don't agree) with organized religion but I do love god in my own way. I think God is okay with that.

elliottandelliottmtg,
It depends on your definition of 'religious'.
It would mean that you were being religious about it, in one sense of the word.
But why ask that question? It's about love. Are you asking this question when you are loving someone else? Are you being religious when you are with them? I think with most people it doesn't even come to mind.

Depends on if you have sex or not. According to St. Augustine, in that moment of climax we are not thinking of God at all, with our hearts, minds, or souls. But if you are one of those people that think about God while having sex, than that's just weird and i don't think God appreciates you thinking of screwing her.
