I would like to hear a guy talk about himself, because I want to know what he is all about. I want to know if he has the same interests as me. I would also like to hear him ask me about myself. In my opinion, I think that learning about each other's personal life could begin something special.

ME! haha. Um actually i like to know that a guy thinks so if he can carry half the conversation im way more interested than if i have to ask all the questions.

i don't like a guy to dwell on one topic too long...nothing serious the first date or two...i like humor, lightheartedness...
maybe talk about what he does for a living (not real specific unless asked), his friends, his family, his hopes, his dreams...
i also want him to listen...listening is as important as talking...he needs to respond accordingly and genuinely listen, not just nod his head, ask questions...get to know each other
no politics or religion...no economy...no war stories...no hunting and fishing and sports...no rudeness...i want him to look at me when he talks and not have interests in other women... and a definite NO NO is to talk about an ex girlfriend or wife...if he has kids, i want him to talk about them, though

probably things like his relationships with family and friends, what his genuine interests r in life and what the hell he's gonna do with his life, if that doesnt work just talk about family guy and take it from there.
