Stay away from white things. White flour, sugar, rice, potatoes these are high carbs and turn into sugar in the stomach. Also corn is not a vegetable but a grain that turns into sugar was well (think corn syrup)

There are some fruits that will spike your blood sugar extremely quickly and should be eaten in moderation if at all.

The ones that are best are berries like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries. Some melons are ok too. Remember orange juice is awfully full of sugar!!! Reserve that if you drop and need revived quickly. Also grapes are stuffed full of sugar.
