The best way to get over someone is to develop an interest you already have. Say like singing, or song writing. Creation is always the best form of therapy, as it lets the creator manipulate their medium in a way that allows the unspoken to be visualized or audiolized (not sure that is a word).
Spend this time developing your interests, and yourself. Learn a new instrument, work on new dances whatever activity that takes your entire concentration and demands the best of you.

Are you serious? You need to be less pesimistic. Remember the glass is half full, not half empty. It seems to me that you must of had 15 good reasons to get back together with him in the past. You should stop fighting your destiny. You are obviously meant to be together. Call him up. Apologize for leaving him. And then put out of your mind these silly notions of living your life without him.

you mean to be absolutely rid of him, without a doubt?
Oh thats easy,.... have him killed.
otherwise, forget it.... you have too much history between each other. you just have to get on with your life. who knows, you might find someone who makes him look like a pile of dog poo. And you'll wonder why you had anything to do with him. Thats when you will be certain - that you're over him.
until you find someone else to fulfill you, you will always have regrets and resentments. what are the reasons for not being with him, using you taking you for granted abusing you, we all have good reasons.
it isn't fair I know, it's just the way things work in the world we live in.
I'm sorry, please take care
good luck!!!

Well, it seems that you have some problems to have broken up 16 times, but that there is still enough care and feelings towards one another to be with each other 16 times. You should think about what made you two break up so many times, and talk to him about it and see what he comes up with. You have the connection and the will for the relationship to thrive; just get some out of the problems out there and you'll get good results. Hope I helped.

Find a new man. Honestly, I think that is the best thing. Even if you don't take him seriously. I have come to find out that playing games with guys hearts actually helps me get over the last one. Sounds cruel I know, but it does work.

Focus on the rest of your life. Right now your focusing too much on what you have lost and not on all the other good parts of your life. Letting go of someone is never easy so take your time and just know that eventually you will find someone else.

Don't think about him. Carry on life as asual but start looking for someone else, or spend time with friends. Keep busy, if you are bored you mind will wander onto him and thats the last thing you want.
