I am in need of a recording device to record presentations. I need it to be inconspicuous so as not to make the presenter nervous. I would like to have it be "transcibable" so we can review afterwards with the presenter to help them improve. Suggestions?

if you have an older ipod with a 9-pin adaptor on top, you could buy a voice recorder for that and if they see it, it's just an ipod. Also it records the sound in mp3 format.

The ipod records in mono with a little software and mic. As far a "transcribable," I think you're ahead of your time expecting that from a consumer product.
