I am wondering if what I said a while back has smitten this girl toward me. She said something about how she wished she was a better friend, and I told her all about how her friends saw her and finished my argument mentioning what she meant to me in my life. Now, I get the feeling that she admires me a WHOLE lot, and she may like me. I am just wondering how girls view honest compliments?

It depends on what you say. If it is something we want to hear your looking good. If you say something out of nowhere then we think you want to get some.
